Congratulations to James Rhodes who swore his Barristers’ and Solicitors’ Oath this afternoon.

James Rhodes, pictured above with firm partner Jennifer Millbank, is a Nanaimo native, having grown up here before moving to Victoria to attend university. Prior to law school, James received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Dean’s List) from the University of Victoria, where he was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards. After graduating, James briefly worked at a large international accounting firm before returning to the University of Victoria to study law, where he was once again the recipient of numerous scholarships.

During his time in law school, James spent two summers with RLR. After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree, James returned to the firm as an articling student.

We are pleased to announce that James has now completed his articles and will be continuing on with us as the firm’s newest lawyer.
