Construction has officially begun on BC Cancer’s new treatment centre in Nanaimo. This transformative facility is set to deliver expanded cancer treatment and advanced diagnostic services to central Vancouver Island—bringing care closer to home.

Slated to open in 2028, the new BC Cancer – Nanaimo will offer state-of-the-art radiation therapy, chemotherapy, advanced imaging, an oncology ambulatory care unit, and a cutting-edge oncology pharmacy—all under one roof.

The BC Cancer Foundation is supporting its development through a $10 million fundraising campaign to help equip the centre with cutting-edge treatment and care technologies.

With a strong legacy of backing community development, RLR embraced the opportunity to support this vital investment in health care for the central Island. Our firm has committed to contributing $25,000 over five years to the project as a show of gratitude for a project that we believe will have a profound positive impact on our communities.
