Biography
Jenna is an associate in the Nanaimo office. She was called to the British Columbia bar in May of 2019. Although Jenna was raised on Vancouver Island, she started her legal career in Northern British Columbia where she practiced in the areas of family law and general civil litigation.
In her family law practice, Jenna uses various techniques to resolve issues relating to parenting, support and dividing family property and debts. Jenna takes the time to understand each individual case and provide practical advice to her clients, which can reduce conflict and allow for out-of-court resolution. Where this is not possible, Jenna will vigorously advocate for her clients and successfully argued cases at tribunals, the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Jenna also has experience in creditor/debtor law and contractual disputes. Jenna’s practice style allows her to handle these civil cases in a cost-effective and efficient manner. With Jenna’s help, these matters are often resolved out of court without protracted litigation, but if necessary, Jenna will work tirelessly alongside her client to ensure the best chance of success.
When Jenna is not in the office, she can usually be found near the ocean or enjoying leisurely hikes with her spouse, Tyler, and their dog, Olive.
